Water Tank Selection
HOW SHOULD WATER TANK SELECTION BE?
1. Determine Capacity Requirements
•The appropriate volume (liters or tons) should be selected according to the area of use.
•A tank that is too small leads to water shortages; a tank that is too large causes unnecessary cost and space loss.
2.Pay Attention to Material Quality
•Polyethylene (plastic) tanks: Lightweight, economical, corrosion-resistant, and suitable for drinking water.
•Polyethylene tanks with TSE and health certifications are among the safest choices for drinking water.
3.Choose a Shape Suitable for the Area of Use
•Vertical tanks: Suitable for narrow areas and saving floor space.
•Horizontal tanks: Ideal for large surfaces such as attics or gardens.
•Slim tanks: Provide advantages in narrow spaces such as balconies or between walls.
4. Consider Color and Light Transmittance
•Blue or black tanks allow less sunlight to pass through and help delay algae formation.
5. Check TSE and Health Certifications
•The tank must have a TSE quality certificate.
•Raw materials compliant with food regulations should be used.
•The product label should include the statement “Suitable for drinking water use.”
6. Pay Attention to Installation and Maintenance Convenience
•The tank should be easy to clean, easy to transport, and purchased from a brand with service support.
•Drain outlet and lid design are important for hygiene.
7. Brand and Warranty Period
•Choose a reliable brand that has been operating in the sector for many years.
•At least 2 years of warranty and spare parts support should be provided.
In Short:
“Healthy water starts with the right tank.” “Certified safety = Healthy water.”
Choosing a TSE-certified, food-compatible tank with the appropriate capacity and shape for your needs provides a safe and long-lasting solution.
HOW SHOULD THE CAPACITY OF TANKS USED IN BUILDINGS AND BUSINESSES BE DETERMINED?
•In residential buildings with up to 6 apartments (including the 6th apartment), water tanks should have a capacity of 2 tons. For each apartment after the 6th, an additional 500 liters should be added.
•In office buildings, offices, bazaars, shopping arcades, hotels, and similar places, it is mandatory to install a water tank with a minimum capacity of 15 tons.
